It's almost all in 401Ks so maybe that's why I haven't had much of a say. I have gotten proxy statements from MFs outside of 401Ks from time to time with lists of issues and people to vote on, but insufficient info to make any decision on. I have certainly not seen a ballot giving me a say on executive pay. Given the importance of 401ks today as the main retirement vehicle for many I don't think leaving those people without a say constitutes a fair and open system. I have to admit though that maybe I don't read enough of my paperwork since I watch the NAV's closely on nearly a daily basis. I'm curious if anyone else has proof that mutual fund owners do have a say in executive pay.

Mark
