Space tourists need a tangible destination

I know just being in space circling Earth a few times would be a big
thrill for most, myself included, but so long as that is all the space
tourist industry offers, they won't ever get enough customers to make
enough more money to be profitable.

The industry needs a goal, whether it be a luxury hotel in Earth orbit
(that will happen, I am sure of it) or those proposed flights around the
Moon that the Russians have talked about. And of course some day
there will be places to visit and stay on the Moon, Mars, and other
various space rocks, but right now the customers need to get some
place that can happen in the next decade or so, and that would be
some kind of applicable space station/hotel. The ISS is not it.

What's happening with Bigelow these days?
