I agree.

I tried to nurture an online romance. However the recipient of my attention grew impatient...and did not *hear* what I was trying to convey. [It had only been a month since he had been rejected by a woman he claimed he loved ~after only a week of correspondance between them.~]

Once expectations began to evolve...it was too late for me.

I need to take it slow and easy. Impulsive has never worked for me.

I wanted to share intimate thoughts. Poetry. Vulnerabilities. Trust. For me that requires time and effort.
