TB, you are definitely not playing with a full deck. If I were crazy enough to feel that strongly about such a thing, I would like to think I would have least have enough sense not to let anyone else find out about it.
Let me tell you a little secret. I had no idea of what this turning off the lights was all about (I've been heating about it on and off all day). I assumed it was just some meaningless celebration, like National Honor Your School Crossing Guard Day, or National Gonorrhea Awareness Week.
But I can see now that it does indeed play a vital role in raising the global consciouness. Anything that can send you and Techie into such shivering fits is definitely worthy of cultivation and elaboration.
It's just turning dark here in Time Zone Romeo, but there is nothing we can do here as a form of symbolic celebration. You see, I turn off the outside lights when I'm not using them anyway. It's just common sense.
