my liberal friends often wonder just who's side I'm on. My cousin, Robert the Red, is exasperated because I know his arguments perfectly but I'm not intimidated by them. I tend to be sensitive to pomposity, and often enjoy provoking my opponents when they come across a bit too self-righteous.
I make no excuses or apologies about where my politics come from, I don't claim to be non-partisan, but I'm not as far left as maybe I come across here. It's just that I do get a bit of perverse pleasure at yanking chains and pressing buttons. I think this is what you pick up on, but then again, you tend to be more of a listener than a shouter.
