What makes a liberal?

This is just the first link to googling "what makes a liberal". It lacks the authority of a bunch of "Berkley" professors but you get the idea. There is always something out there to feed our stereotypes.
On one side fear, agression, intolerance. On the other side, naivety, narcisisism, etc. etc.
Both articles are what I call sloshing material, suitable for sharing with those of identical thinking.
