The American Left is focused on this issue like a laser. Every liberal media outlet, mainstream and otherwise, is running with this.
I'm trying to figure out what the point is. The policies are long-dead, and the new administration has put the rest of the nails in the coffin. It's not like evidence that enhanced interrogation works or not would change Obama's policies one way or the other.
Somebody is pushing this HARD. Maybe it's that the Left is still obsessed with Bush. They're going to be damned if they're going to let the Bush administration go out without leaving that pound of flesh behind that they've been lusting after for years, and they probably think this is their only shot at it.
Or maybe somebody hopes that this, like the flu story, will distract people from what else is going on--things that are happening now, not years ago.
In related news, ABC has printed names--and photos--of the psychologists involved.
