FDR took an entire ethnic group, hauled them out of their homes, and put them in detention camps and he's still a hero to American liberals. All is forgiven.
Bush put trace programs on international phone calls and liberals were screaming about the end of our Constitutional democracy, and still are.
But hey, FDR was operating under emergency conditions, and absolutely nothing happened during the Bush administration that could be reasonably described as a national emergency, right?
It's amazing how people have had to obliterate their own thinking processes just to keep their political views intact.
