As for Rick Perry...
I understand the liberal belief that any resistance to an all-powerful Federal government is a sign of some form of insanity. I saw this attitude with the anti-tax-and-spending protests.
You can almost see Obama's puzzled frustration at the existence of these troublesome---what do you call them--"state governments?"
But I don't quite see it that way.
