In April, Obama's Justice Department released, against the wishes of the CIA, secret memos on interrogation techniques to the public.
Democrats can blow as much fog as they like. This was a timed political attack to distract the public from current issues. If it was not authorized by Obama personally, than he has no control over his Justice Department.
The attack backfired, and now the Democrats and their defenders are dancing so fast they're generating Cherenkov radiation from their ankles.
This is a dead issue, Art. No Democrat with an ounce of sense left will be pushing for a real investigation, and in fact, they'll be trying hard to bury the subject entirely.
