re: Pelosi clams up
Obama is a smart man who understands the phrase about keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. I think that is why he befriended that Republican governor and sent him to China.
Pelosi is a loose cannon that he can’t always control. I bet if things go south for her, he will not stand behind her. Not only could he get someone up there that wouldn’t be a loose cannon, it would show he will not protect a corrupt member of congress even if they are Democrats.
That would be the smart political move for him.
We’ll see what happens.
