Two years your party held almost total power. What did they do, Buck? Where was all the urgency back then, when your side could have passed all the tax increases they wanted? Could have cut the spending, reformed entitlements? What did your hero do when he had the chance to kill the Bush tax cuts? What did he say back then?
What did Obama do with the report he got back in 2010 from the Deficit Commission he assigned to solve this problem?
Obama's 2012 budget, with his tax increases included, practically doubled the Federal budget over the next ten years. CBO estimated annual deficit by 2021: $1.2 trillion and climbing. Accumulated deficits over the next ten years: $9.5 trillion.
Your side has nothing. All it can do is try to destroy the opposition.
