What you're saying is Americans are inherently superior to everyone else in the world, because while Americans would never knuckle under to a tyranny imposed and maintained because it's "feared and obeyed", such a thing is quite conceivable everywhere else.
At no point in my statement did I imply that the ability of tyrants to control a population was somehow limited to a particular race or creed, and that white people were "immune." Five seconds of thought about world history would prove that the idea was total crap. Does the word "Aryan" ring any bells?
If I actually believed that somehow "it can't happen here," I wouldn't be as exercised about politics and threats to our freedoms and individuality.
Tyranny often starts with the uncritical worship of a leader. Just saying.
