anything saying that there is no God case closed, simply that there's no need to believe in one and if you're of that like mind, you're not alone.

The controversy I speak of is not from someone like you who I assume to have a very open mind. It's the controversy that always comes when one points out the radical tactics of the fundamentalist Christians in this country. It brings out this guaranteed defensiveness and attacks against the extremes on the other side.

It's just one of those topics where there's rarely a middle ground. As long as we're going to get the outrage, might as well be here on Flame.
