The only reason they tend to draw attention to themselves in this respect is that conservatives are (by definition) those who control wealth and power, which in our society happens to be commercial activity. So they, and those who fancy themselves as natural members or beneficiaries of this class, will soon emerge as the natural opponents or promoters of certain types of collective action.
"By definition?" You know, when you post something like this, which is absolute crap from front to back, how can you get indignant when I point it out?
Yes, every person in the United States who controls wealth and power is a Republican/conservative. No businessmen, corporate captains, or billionaires voted for Obama, or donated to Democratic candidates. Why, all the major corporations are run by Republicans, aren't they? And of course, there are no middle-class conservatives. Heck, look around. The only people who go to church all the time are millionaires, right?
Good grief.
