The West Nile virus- Anyone remember how many cases in their state? One case of West Nile in South Dakota in 2009.

The Avian Flu. Here are the numbers worldwide from 2003 to 2009.

Each year 36,000 die of the flu in the US and we're supposed to be concern about 27,000 cases worldwide and 141 deaths?

Are the drug companies just yanking our chains? Are they crying Wolf?
If nothing comes of this, I'd have to see my neighbors dead on their lawns before I worry about the next "outbreak" of whatever...
