One of us is misinterpreting the situation, Lindy. Bowser wrote "I will not post on the new boards" because Frank will continue to be a moderator at the new place. I read an implied ultimatum there, as I would any time somebody says they're leaving because of another person; I hear "me or him".
Frank's trying hard to be conciliatory toward Bowser, and so am I, but if Bowser is truly giving me an ultimatum, him or Frank, I can't possibly comply. There's a limit, and that would be over the line.
I picked this thread even though it's on Flame because I've been meaning to talk to Bowser about the relentless and increasingly personal attacks on the Right, and the post to which I responded struck me as a positive one. I thought my words would find Bowser in a receptive mood, but in that, I think I made the classic mistake of thinking that the Bowser-in-a-good-mood who made that post is still hanging around the post; but in the real world people move on, and the Bowser who read my post wasn't in quite the same good mood. Oops....
Keep in mind the message to which I keep returning: I don't want Bowser to be left behind when we move. I'll do anything within reason to bring him with us. But tossing Frank overboard so Bowser will be comfortable? You don't seriously think I'd do that, do you?
