I am probably wasting my time responding, but what the hell.

Regarding the goodies remark, I still think you missed the context, but knowing that you will not be swayed, let's assume it was made in the most negative way. How long ago was that, 5 or 6 years, more?

Regarding the "fuking alcoholic" remark, once again 5-6 years ago, I think we were both exchanging insults. I don't recall all of yours but some of them were quite personal and long ago forgiven or forgotten.

So happens I have a lot of experience in the area of alcohol and substance abuse. Both of my parents were there and I recently lost a sister to drugs and booze. I have my share of animosity toward the affliction but none toward the victims. I chose the insult because it was handy. How did you choose yours?

My distain for you was based primarily on how you treated others. I recall at least one of the instances but it serves no purpose to dredge it up because it was 5-6 years ago, and you are way better than you once were. Your politics are of zero interest to me. Everyone here knows I am all but out of the political discussion.

Your belief that I monitor your posts closely could not be less correct. I don't even read most of your posts. I have no more power over you or interest in your posts than any other member of the community, and the community has complete power over me as a moderator.

I don't want you to leave the community. If an apology for past insults will help, consider it rendered. This is all I am going to say on the matter.
