Yeah, there was no such thing as political and economic corruption in world civilization prior to socialism. No tyrannies, no dynasties, no merchant empires, no trade, no slavery, no obsession with wealth or power.
If you take a closer look at most of the ruling classes in all nations, it's all about money.
But you apparently have a worldview you're comfortable with, and there's not a lot of point in disturbing it.
Sound and fury, signifying nothing.
You're just talking to hear yourself talk, your monologue is interchangeable, just substitute a few key words and it will fit anybody's politics. What are you for? Are you trying to tell us about your worldview? It sure doesn't sound like it. It parses grammatically but it is has no information content. Just what are you trying to convince me of?
Did the socialists invent corruption? Will your Libertarian utopias find a way to deal with it? Can you show me any correlation between corruption and political or economic philosophy? If so, when was corruption at a minimum, the Golden Age of Robber Baron Entrepreneurialism, Between the Roosevelts, from the Gilded Age to the New Deal. Just what are you trying to tell us here? What conclusion are you struggling to arrive at? What the hell did you bring up Africa for except as an excuse to slam Obama?
