Too bad your enthusiasm for smallness doesn't extend to corporations as well as government.
Your straw man embraces the slander that those suspicious of big business must therefore automatically be ardent champions for big government. No amount of denial or explanation seems to penetrate you convenient preconceptions, but I'll try one last time: I fear and loathe all careerist bureaucrats, whether they work for government, business, labor, NGOs or political office. The words "bureaucrat" and "executive" should be synonymous, (as they indeed are in Spanish).

And I see the growth of government you so much despise as being deliberately and happily engineered by the private sector for its own personal aggrandizement. But as long as you continue to visualize global financial capitalism as a bunch of small-town shopkeepers busily competing amongst themselves for the patronage of their customer-neighbors, you will never be able to discern the issues, much less propose a resolution for them. Your partisans and your philosophies are not the solution, they are the problem.
