Helps explain why the African-American community was and is the largest US sub-culture with a high 'Apollo-was-a-hoax" belief, according to opinion polls.

Question is, what's the cause and what's the effect? Which comes first?

Do lower socio-economic groups simply resent and disbelieve national themes such as Apollo because of their situation, or do people who fall for the Apollo-was-a-hoax scam tend to have attitudes that lead them to make other bad decisions in life that result in their lower socio-economic consequences?
