Things are changing.
Washington State just banned all sales of high capacity magazines but did not prohibit possession. Two years prior, they passed a law prohibiting private guns sales. To sell your gun, you must bring it to a licensed gun dealer to record the transaction and do a background check on the purhcaser. I say things are changing because 30 years ago I would not have supported this legislation. Now I applaud it.
