Actually, some of the things you mentioned would fit into the definition of slavery. People being taken against their will and not free to leave on their own. That’s slavery. This conversation started about workers being exploited. That’s not slavery. As long as they have the right to walk away of their own free will they are not slaves. And yes, exploitation is less wrong than actual slavery
Large populations had their homes destroyed and were forced to relocate during World War II. They were not put into death camps and gassed. That’s genocide. There were literally millions of refugees from the nations all over Europe. No one accuses the Germans of genocide against the French no matter how many had their homes destroyed, or were forced to move. It was war not genocide.
As I mentioned below to ER, hyperbole is the thing. Exaggeration is a thing.
