I had no idea Google SketchUp existed, but I've been looking for something like it.
I've been an Acad jockey for years, and struggled with the 3d interface in an effort to build a model of a Shuttle ET derived launcher. (Just for fun)

Eventually succeeded, (All stages & components are Xreffed into a "host" DWG, so you can assemble/disassemble vehicle just by loading/unloading Xref's.
Thank you so much for alerting me to Google SketchUp!
