VERY POWERFUL BOWZ! Wish more people could read you! The ones I chat with elsewhere would LOVE to hear your experienced view.
I ran into some problems with some girlfriends locally here recently. Because I have been vocal about the same issues, I was attacked verbally by three of them.
They were claiming I was being "anti-American or anti-Semetic" when in reality I was being "anti-criminality." One was my closest friend here in town. Some of the things she said to me were off the wall....and very hurtful. She kept at me, leaving me messages on my cell phone, sending me emails...ANYTHING to engage me; but I refused. Her personal insults (which won't be repeated) were way over the line.
She took personal offense at me pointing out this countries foibles, got out her flags and started waving them in my face.
We no longer speak, she has not offered an apology, and I refuse to ever trust her or her judgement again.
