Thanks

And a gift to myself, of course, since I expect to be able to return to enjoying the Zone as a participant someday soon. It's worth remembering that I have to use the interface I build.

I was researching your point about being unable to lurk, since it could be construed as an invasion of privacy. It ought to be optional, at least, but I wasn't able to find a MyDamnTiki setting at the user level to opt-out, nor a config setting at the DamnTikiWiki admin level to make it possible. Without an opt-out, I think I ought to remove it. What do you think?

That gives me an idea for an alternative: A tweeter gallery whereby, if you choose, your own little tweeter window is added to this gallery when you're logged-in, and any "twits" you type in are displayed there. And people can send you a private message or post in public. And I have my geeky little joke on Twitter. Sounds like a win all around, eh?
