no one's saying the iranians aren't crazy troublemakers and don't deserve to get spanked. i'm just saying that until you are ready and able to actually do something about it, and prepared to accept the consequences if you fail, you should keep your mouth shut. nothing makes you look more impotent and ridiculous than to strut and bully and then do nothing at all. all usa presidents, republican and democrat, back to carter have had to face these geopolitical and logistical realities, and the intransigence and cowardice of their allies. its not their fault.

letting iran get away with murder has been your only option, mostly because you don't have the military or diplomatic power to make something happen. until you do, you have no choice but to work in the background and keep your mouth shut, or risk looking like fools.
