The future is bleak. The GOP and Democrats fall to the La Raza Socialist Party (or whatever nom de plume it will be traveling under) and the United States is effectively absorbed into Mexico. It's ALL demographics. Once one knows the numbers, the calculations are as easy as an algebraic equation.

Expect socialism, poverty, more poverty, decay of infrastructure, pollution, yet more poverty and a corrupt police state.

While the left was busy embracing Change, they simply paved the way for a dystopian future that makes the film Blade Runner 's future dystopia seem like a quite wealthy and uplifting place. The GOP was never their mortal enemy, but they were not bright enough to see the big picture.

The die is cast, the car is speeding along at 90 mph and is only 20 car lengths from the cliff. I don't think even the best brakes can keep the US from going over that edge. We're past the point of no return.

And the best part is the full on denial PC think has engendered. Not only will the left go off the cliff, they will be in total denial of any problem - just as they are right now.

Maybe that's a blessing for them. If you don't know what's going to happen when you hit bottom you can enjoy the fall in blissful ignorance.

That's clearly what's going on here in what's left of the Zone. A few folks with their eyes open are screaming and the rest have their eyes closed and say "Do you feel that breeze? Isn't this awesome?"

You, Gothgirl and Robert might as well keep your eyes closed. Opening them now wont do much good.
