Hang in there. The blog interface stinks.
The little tiny icon near the top that looks like a green gumball with a band-aid on it is the "post" button. Guess how long it took for me to figure THAT out.
If you do any formatting at all, you have to post it, observe the formatting failures, correct them, post it again, and sometimes you have to do it three times.
Links aren't automatically underlined, and you have to do it manually. The formatting system is completely different from the main board. I had to use a "framed" text style to create anything resembling a "quote" box.
It's frustrating.
