That's how I understand it too, but when someone pointed out the Kucinich statement, I wondered how many others fell into that category.
If it was only Kucinich, then you have to wonder. Sure as heck there are a lot more Democrats in Congress who think like he does about single-payer being the only answer. Apparently they were convinced that the current bill is an acceptable pipeline toward what they want.
