Hollywood has GOT to find something to titillate their audiences with. I felt like a kid who was 10 years old watching a Buck Rogers movie. I think I got up at around minute 5 to go into the kitchen and let the program drone on in the background with it visions of tidal waves, earthquakes, volcanoes blowing... ad nauseum. I think it actually may have been the trailer for the new movie "2012".

And I can't stand Richard Hoagland and I often wonder why anyone takes him seriously at all. I did step back into the living room to listen to certain parts, only to be fooled again. Personally I think 2012 is going to be just like Y2K.......a day like any other. But it's our Doomsday culture. News has always been the worst of the worst; a gaudy look into the underbelly of life.
