I was under the impression all scientific issues were fair game for Space/Science; especially the second item, which is clearly a meteorological event of some kind, unusual but certainly not paranormal.
Surely, there is nothing in the post, or in my past posting history, that implies any mystical or spooky anomalism is at work here. I clearly
have a skeptical attitude toward the "monster", which I suspect is probably a misidentification of a common organism.
I support your efforts to keep the pseudoscience off the board, but in this case, I must confess I am a bit miffed at being lumped in with that crowd.
