I've always thought the whole global warming concept was based on bad science.
Time will tell if this thing completely discredits those involved. If not, then we will know that global warming is just about politics and has nothing to do with real science.
If these morons faked evidence, ignored contrary evidence, and actively sought to undermine the peer reveiw process and the rest of the scientific community looks the other way because they too want to believe in global warming, then the scientific method itself will be undermined and exposed as a hoax.
Keep in mind that there used to be a lot of scientists in Germany who had a lot of this kind of "science" which they used to support all kinds of "political" agendas.
