that's the reasonable thing to do, it's what I would want for myself, or if i were in great pain with no possibility of a cure. in some countries the law allows that, and in most others the law just looks the other way if a family and their doctor choose that course of action. but in the usa, there is great religious objection to euthanasia, and the only way it can be done at all is without a physician's assistance. in other words, let the patient die of hunger. it is barbaric.
