Civilization's infrastructure has done pretty well over a pretty wide range of temperatures, and infrastructure can be moved and changed. Far better to deal with warmer temperatures than another Ice Age.
I've noticed that as the data gets fuzzier, and the motivations become more obvious, that the response from the "climate change" leadership in the past couple of weeks has been to ramp up the rhetoric, talking about "human extinction" and other hysterical statements. They continue to repeat the same old mantras that didn't even stand up to the data before this entire e-mail flap.
"Give us all the power and the loot we need to save us or we're all going to die!"
Copenhagen has become a joke, and yet another example of the hypocrisies of the AGW leadership.
I can understand that the leaders and those scientists that have hitched their careers to this (not as many as you might think) have no other real choice. They have to ride the bomb all the way down to the ground. Al Gore in particular is quite entertaining to watch. But fewer people are buying the party line every day.
