Old Sci Fi movies.
I was lucky enough to catch a showing of 'Destination Moon' (1950) on AMC. I'd not seen it in years, while there was the usual surface crud from movies of the Era, the accuracy (according to scientific knowledge of the time) still surprised me. Exhaust velocities and payload vs propellant and vehicle weight concerns were discussed at length. Escape velocities, priciples of rocket physics, launch windows, weightlessness and the problems it brings.
Now, if someone could get the current crop of Studio and TV execs to do the same.
