Re: Question:

The empirical answers are clearly written across history, including what practically amounted to scientific experiments: East and West Germany. North and South Korea. Free economies prosper, while controlled centralized economies don't.

Now you are told that the ideal is capitalism with a certain amount of socialism to make it work.

The problem is, the "right" amount of socialism always seems to be about ten percent more than whatever the mix is at any given time. For example, we had far less socialism in the early 1960s than we have now, and were prospering.

Yet now we are being told that we still don't have enough socialism to make things work. Their answer to every single issue or problem is more government power, more wealth transferred to the State, and more control over our lives and property. Try and think of an exception.

In their eyes, we will never have enough socialism. Don't let them kid you.
