So can I. Germany today is one of the strongest economies in the world, in spite of the fact it had to singlehandedly clean up the mess the Russians left in the Eastern Zone.
And what kind of economic system has Germany had for the last 66 years? A Social Democratic system just like he hates and I support; a mixture of Socialism and Capitalism. It even has Socialized Medicine!
So when W Germany outperforms E Germany it's because it is capitalist. But when the Euro is in trouble, it's because it is Socialist. Quod erat demonstrandum.
