To me, race played no role. It wasn't about slavery. It wasn't about oppression. It wasn't about hate.
It was a very tired story of the greed of the white race. It was about the importance of profit over all things. It was about the deforestation of our planet. It was about strip mining and numerous other negative 'cliche' attributes of corporate entities as viewed by liberals.
The story was that of the Native Americans being killed and driven off their land by whites in order to exploit this country's natural resources.
Evidently what we need to do is to return to the days of the hunter gatherer. It's the only way to live in harmony with the planet.
