I just sat down to my "StarryNights Pro5" astro software. I can set the obseving position to that of the ruins and roll the time back as far as 99999 BC.
If StaryNights' calculations account for precession I'll post some screenshots.
These ruins look like livestock pens and because several of the walls form a "funnel" to the pens,
maybe the formation is for herding or more interestingly, for hunting.
