What's wrong with me? Frustration, mostly.
Look at the charts. Prices rise when customers are disconnected from those prices by third parties or other mechanisms. Under those circumstances, there is no incentive for customers to conserve or otherwise modify their use of the product, and no incentive for providers to keep prices low.
This is true of ALL commodities. Regardless of what the Left tries to sell you, health care and services are not some "holy" product immune to market forces, any more than food, shelter, or any other essential of life.
If you destroy market forces completely, as with a completely subsidized product, the only alternative is top-down control or rationing, and you get the kind of "prosperity" we used to see on the far side of the Iron Curtain.
