Which is basically what this guy's presentation says. Did you listen to it? I highly recommend that everyone listen to it. It brings up an important point. No politico is going to run on legalizing drugs (and regulating them) until THE PEOPLE WHO ELECT THEM tell them that they want it. It would be political suicide. But when WE decide we want it, they'll do it! We have to make our voices heard and that isn't going to happen until enough people are talking about this and talking to their political representatives.

Maybe we need a new Constitutional Amendment: the Government of the United States, nor any individual state may prohibit the distribution of any drug; however, said drugs may be taxed and distribution regulated as determined by the Federal Government. Or some such.
