Let's see...on the one hand, you have the concrete and tangible factor of greed motivating for-profit corporations. One might even say that corporations are behaving as they should by singlemindedly pursuing their self-interest at the expense of everyone else. Certainly Republicans don't pretend (often) that corporations exist to serve society.
Then you have the vague assertion that everyone else is motivated by some nebulous hunger for power, that everyone who works for the government chose their career solely for the personal power that being a bureaucrat can bring. Oh yeah, baby, being a bureaucrat is the sexy occupation everybody dreams of, what with all the glory and the glamour and all.
Which one is fact, and which one is more braindead conspiracy theorizing?
