Re: "Adroit?"

It's called using intelligence. A premise was put forth, that Obama gets the credit for the decrease in the rate of job losses (pathetic enough in itself) and I showed some major holes in it.

If you want to go at it from another direction, there are sources who credit TARP (a Bush administration idea) with the "save." I didn't like TARP then, and I don't like it now, but if we're going to pull cum hoc ergo propter hoc, I can play that game, too. Are we sure it wasn't the TARP that did the trick?

The U.S. has a long record of fighting out of recessions, often despite government idiocy not because of it, and this is probably no different. If half the stuff Obama's been pushing for a year had actually passed instead of being held up by that "gridlock" Democrats hate so much, I can guarantee you things would be worse.

Has anyone noticed that successes are all Obama's, while failures are all about leftover Bush policies? Taking credit for Iraq was particularly amusing. If that employment curve looked any different, Obama would be blaming Bush for it.
