^I've just spent 10 bucks on 2012 and district 9 and I wasted my money.^

Heck, I could have told you that for free ahead of time. Fair warning on Avatar, unless you watch it just for the effects.

I've been watching the Blu-Ray sales on Amazon, and over the past several weeks have accumulated, at bargain prices, Labyrinth, the Dark Crystal, Dark City, Corpse Bride, and Up. I don't have a lot of TV time, but I expect to get a lot of enjoyment over the next few months out of these.

I paid list price for Ponyo in Blu-Ray. I have no clue why Disney isn't releasing the rest of Miyazaki's work in Blu-Ray. The only thing more irritating is that the upcoming Blu-Ray releases of the Lord of the Rings movies are NOT the extended editions. #$@%$!!

If ideological compatibility was a must for marriages, there'd be a lot fewer of them.
