why should i be shocked that you have convinced yourself my thinking is anti-capitalistic, and why should i care? everyone who won't accept your line unquestioningly is, in your opinion, anti-capitalistic. not that i'm particularly against capitalism, i just don't think it is exempt from criticism, or immune to error.
what really steamed you off about my little essay is not that i want to overthrow the economic system or replace it with anything else, just that i refuse to worship its heroes, or consider them paragons of selfless virtue.
not that it matters. thank god we still live in a country where not being obsequiously capitalistic, or constantly fawning over its champions, is not illegal. in fact, it never was. or have you forgotten that?
