I do not find politics to be an attractive vocation.

Most real conservatives/libertarians enter politics out of sheer self-defense, and they are not as good at operating the machinery of politics as those who believe people need to be controlled and that they are destined to be the controllers.

I would suck at it, too. My campaign for even the lowest office would last just as long as the first time I told someone asking for a political favor or a slice of the loot to go jump in the lake.
