Those sentences are contradictory. Who's "we?" And why are views like those of the author of that article excluded?
I've spent years listening to people tell us what the role of our government should be. Usually it involves me doing what the government tells me to.
It's bizarre that, given what you write so often, you are apparently so hostile to the idea of a society where centralized authority over our lives is severely limited.
