^The Obama administration seems perplexed at the continuing drag on jobs in their so-called recovery, but it's not terribly difficult to see why we’ve gone the longest time in a post-war recession without a significant uptick in employment. Barack Obama keeps increasing taxes on those people with the capital to invest in the market, and sends signals that more taxation on that group is coming. Instead of investing the money, they’re sheltering it instead.^

It isn't just tax increases, either. It's continuous attacks on automobile, energy, and financial industries, things like "pay czars," continuous rhetoric about wealth redistribution, and pretty much the whole left-wing line on business and economics.

It used to be just the wild-eyed guy in the basement of the student union, handing out his pamphlets and telling us how "The Man" would get his after the "revolution."

Then we started electing them to political offices. They've been in Congress for years, and even the Senate. Now one is President (elected mostly by lying about his beliefs) and the same radicals are running the show in the House. Surprise! Tax and Spend, while breaking the back of the private sector. What did they THINK would happen?
