They found about 7 of what they refer to as precancerous polyps so that puts you in a shorter (3 year) window for a repeat. The last procedure found 2 polyps that were not precancerous.
The anesthesia is the twilight stuff and is not considered general. The second time around tired me out but I was fine and up and around the day after. Totally painless but the prep is gruesome.
I have read there is an alternative to that stuff you drink. It is a pill that can be taken and then fruit juice or other liquid in place of the gallon of polluted sea water
